You remember those sugar eggs that were decorated with icing and had some little scene hidden inside? Yeah, I think I broke two or three as a kid and got sick eating the fourth one.
I was trying to imagine the Cat Ball as one of those sugar eggs and here is my first prototype.
The little opening is really small in this version. An adult cat can’t fit through it, but a 2 pound kitten might zoom through. The outer fabric is a vintage Swiss dot, and the little spots are actually textured bumps.
